Sara’s one-off garments are a reflection of her admiration for cultures and civilisations through dress. Sara uses her artful garments as a time machine to connect with historic and cultural moments through the use of fabrics, beads and threads she finds during her travels. Her work explores how past societies were portrayed through dress, while imagining how these symbols would empower wearers today.
